Hi there,
My name is Umid. I was born in Uzbekistan in the capital Tashkent. Since I was a little boy I always had a passion for creating. We put on shows with neighbouring kids and did some amazing parties! I had a very happy childhood. I remember time spent with my relatives in Fergana Valley and visiting museums or musicals in Tashkent with my parents. Oh and amazing ice cream and cakes on every sunday!
At the age of 20 I however decided to move to the UK. I was always intrigued by different cultures and traditions. I spent almost 20 years living in the UK - cities like Oxford, Cambridge and Brighton. My last 5 years were in London. I worked in a Hospitality. One of my achievements is working for a Jamie Oliver Restaurant as a general manager. Hospitality gave me a lot of understanding in numbers, sales but mostly people skills.
I loved hospitality, but I also loved my passion for traveling and creating. I made a decision to travel to southeast asia as a backpacker. Was just the right moment to do so. So here I am at the laptop booking a flight for two weeks. Later, I received confirmation that I had booked for two months!! My mistake of course... I suddenly had an anxiety rush - what do I do?? Cancellation was not an option, so I just went! And stayed two more months :)
There i started to play with photography and videography & i realised how i loved it.
When I came back to the UK, I suddenly realised that i wanted to move somewhere warm and sunny . After a long time thinking and deciding, I came to Mallorca.
I love Mallorca as it has everything you need to live a happy life, at least for me! I have been living here for almost 4 years and love to swim in a beautiful beaches in the summer and hiking mountains & mushroom picking during autumn and winter. Not to mention people and food ! Also it is here, where Revvind had started. My little Photography and Videography venture which covers Mallorca & Barcelona. I simply create beautiful timeless moments in a documentary style with a hint of posing. My approach is very simple with no fuss. Putting you at ease and taking great shots is what i do best ! I hope to see you in one of my photo sessions.
